How we review an opportunity
Read the controlling documents
We review the solicitation, attachments, amendments and incorporated requirements before relying on the public notice summary.
Confirm eligibility and restrictions
Set-aside terms, NAICS, subcontracting limits, nonmanufacturer requirements and other applicable conditions are checked.
Verify the performance model
Supplier availability, local service coverage, labor, delivery and required documentation are reviewed.
Build the cost
Direct product cost, labor, freight, travel, supplies, compliance and other known performance costs are included.
Decide whether to quote
If a requirement cannot be supported compliantly or economically, the opportunity may be paused or declined rather than quoted blindly.

Product requirements
For product solicitations, useful information includes the exact manufacturer, model, part number, salient characteristics, quantity, delivery location, acceptable substitutions and required documentation.
NorthBridge also reviews freight terms, warranty, country-of-origin requirements, authorized reseller conditions and applicable nonmanufacturer rules where relevant.
Service requirements
For service solicitations, we review the full task list, service frequency, labor rules, wage determinations, quality-control requirements, site access, insurance, subcontracting restrictions and proposal instructions.
