COMMERCIAL PRODUCT SOURCING

Government Product Sourcing

NorthBridge Supply & Services reviews commercial product requirements against specifications, quantities, delivery dates, supplier availability and contract conditions before pricing is finalized.

We buy from manufacturers, distributors and established commercial suppliers, and we apply the same catalog and specification discipline to public-sector requirements.

REQUIREMENT REVIEW

What we check before quoting a product

01

Specifications

Manufacturer, model, part number, salient characteristics and acceptable substitutions.

02

Quantity

Required unit count, packaging and any minimum order restrictions.

03

Availability

Current stock, production lead time and supplier capacity.

04

Delivery

Ship-to location, required date, freight method, inside delivery, liftgate or appointment requirements.

05

Warranty and support

Manufacturer warranty, service coverage, training or maintenance where required.

06

Compliance

Set-aside conditions, country-of-origin requirements, Buy American or trade-agreement clauses, nonmanufacturer rule, authorized reseller requirements and required certifications.

07

Pricing

Supplier cost, freight, delivery, compliance cost and other direct costs are reviewed before a quote is finalized.

Brand name, part number or equal

Some solicitations require an exact manufacturer and model. Others allow brand-name-or-equal products if the proposed item meets every listed salient characteristic.

NorthBridge reviews the solicitation language before offering an alternative. When an equal product is allowed, supporting technical documentation may be required to show compliance.

We do not assume substitutions are acceptable when the solicitation requires an exact brand or part number.

Send Specifications

Delivery matters as much as price

A low product price can become a bad quote if freight, access, assembly or delivery timing is not understood.

Before pricing, NorthBridge reviews the destination and any known delivery conditions.

SUPPLIER DOCUMENTATION

Information that may be required from the supplier

The exact documentation depends on the solicitation. NorthBridge does not represent supplier status, origin or compliance unless it can be supported by the required documentation.

  • Written quote
  • Manufacturer or distributor information
  • Lead time
  • Warranty
  • Country of origin
  • Authorized reseller documentation
  • Technical data sheets
  • Certificates of conformance
  • Mill or material certifications
  • Product safety documentation
  • Freight terms
  • Quote validity

Products we will not force into a quote

Not every product opportunity is workable. NorthBridge may decline or pause a quote when the requirement cannot be sourced compliantly, delivery cannot be met, supplier authorization is unavailable, or the cost structure does not support responsible performance.

01

Unverified substitutions

02

Unclear country of origin

03

04
